Who are we?

Brussels Export is a partnership between the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of the Brussels Capital Region and BECI, Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry.

This partnership involves a close collaboration between the two organizations situated at the same address, 500 Avenue Louise. Their aim: to promote foreign trade and assist Brussels companies by offering a comprehensive range of performing services.

Which services are offered?

• Customized assistance for exporters, either in Brussels or abroad, thanks to a network of over 80 economic and commercial attachés all over the world.

• Financial incentives offered to SMEs to conduct individual business trips, participate in international fairs, develop promotional documents or an internet site, use the services of external foreign trade consultants, send personnel on export training courses, etc.

• Collective actions: economic missions, contact days, international fairs, invitations of foreign buyers, meetings with commercial partners.

• Supplying information on foreign markets via various media: this website, the Trade Point Brussels and several publications among which the Brussels Export News.

• The enrichment of the database of the exporting companies on the website www.brussels-exporters.be

• Training courses on international trade and editing of the Brussels Economic & Export Directory.

• Selection and appointment of shared export managers for groups of complementary and non-competing SMEs.

• Exchange of experiences and information through the “Midis de l’Export” and within the “Brussels Exporters Club”.

• Issuing of customs documents (ATA booklets and certificates of origin) and validation of export documents.

• Assistance and advice with regards to European issues and a network for European SME's via the Enterprise Europe Brussels (EEB), a joint initiative of BECI and the Brussels Enterprise Agency (BEA). All info on www.brusselsnetwork.be.
